인도북동부지역인 미조람주에 이번세미나를 통해서 이정희사범은 미조람주에 태권도 의무화 하는
한국의 대표문화브랜드인 태권도가 인도 약110만명이 사는 인도북동부지역인 미조람주에 이번세미나를 통해서 이정희사범은 미조람주에 태권도 의무화 하는 의견까지 제시되었으며, 미조람수상은 만남자리에서 경찰태권도 의무화 ,전 School에 정식과목 채택을 위해서 노력하겠다고 밝혔다.수상은 다음번에 태권도세미나 계최시 장기간으로 훈련을 시켰으면 좋겠다고 이정희사범에게 부탁하였으며, 나아가서 전국무대뿐만 아니라 국제메달도 기대한다고 소감을 밝혔다.미조람수상에게 이정희 사범은 국기원 명예단증을 전달수여하였고, 수상은 나도 이제 한국고유무술인 태권도 가족이라며, 참석자들에게 웃음을 주었고, 수상은 이 자리에서 이정희사범에게 감사패를 수여하였다.
이번 세미나는 인구12억나라 인도에서 이정희사범의 첫 업적으로 태권도매니아 뿐만 아니라 인도의 한류전파의 핵심과업인, 인도사회의상류 주류층 에 태권도가 알려진것, 인도는 동남아와 다르게 카스트제도 때문에 신분의 차가 엄격하다 상류층의 사람들은 그래서 한국인을 보고 돈많은 천민이라고 호칭할 정도다 .그들은 타문화에 대해서 차가운 시선이 있으므로 이번 성과는 인도의 핵심부분에 공략하였다고 , 평가되며, 인도의 기자는 다음 인도 국무총리가 될 유력한 후보 소니아 간디의 아들인 라울간디에게도 국기원명예단증을 수여하면 좋겠다는 바램을 신문기사에 실었으며, 라울간디가 청소년시기에 태권도를 배웠다는 정보를 입수하였고, 이정희 사범은 이번을 시작으로 인도전역에 한국과, 한국대표문화인 태권도를 전파할것이다.미조람주 예술문화부 장관은 이번세미나를 통해서 다시 한번더 한국과 가까워 젔다며, 2월, 뉴델리 전 인도 장관 회의차 뉴델리 방문시 김중근 주인도 대한민국 대사와 김금평 문화홍보관을 만나서 한국과 인도 미조람주의 문화교류및 우호협력증진을하였으면 좋겠다고 심정을 밝혔다.
Great achievement of Grand Master Lee in Mizoram state, India.Taekwondo, one of the representative cultural brands was proposed to become a compulsory course in Mizoram, one of North Eastern State, India, Chief Minister of the state agreed to make an effort to do it.Chief Minister expressed his happiness that the Taekwondo team should be trained in longer period as next seminar may be held. Master Lee awarded honorary Kukkiwon Dan certificate to him, and he also presented a pendant of citation to Master Lee.This seminar was the greatest achievement of Master Lee to spread Taekwondo to the upper class of Indian society. Indians have cultural pride, so it is not easy to introduce others" culture to them. Thus, his achievement is significant.They reported in one of Mizoram newspaper that honorary Kukkiwon Dan certificate should be given to Mr.Rahul Gandhi, the strong next Prime Minister.Master Lee plans to spread Taekwondo, one of the representative cultures of Korea to all over India.Minister of Arts and Culture of Mizoram State told that Indo-Korean relationship become closer and expressed his wish that he would discuss about spread of Taekwondo with H.E. Mr. Kim Joong-Keun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea and Mr. Kim, Kum-Pyoung, the secretary of culture and press in Delhi.
