현장탐방-태권도 고수회Field report - Taekwondo Gosuhoe큰 길을 올곧게 걸어가는 참된 무도인을 꿈꾼다Dream of the true martial art man who walk the right and big way1994년 12월 10일 세계태권도한마당 대회를 통하여 배출된 고단자들로 출범한 태권도 고수회는 무예와 무도정신이 깃든 태권도의 혼과 진수를 새로이 개발하자는 의지로 종주국의 태권도 고수들로 구성되어 있다. Gosuhoe was estimated by high Dan grade people from the World Taekwondo Hanmadang 1994 that composed high level of Taekwondo masters in Korea who had purpose to develop soul and essence of Taekwondo newly.실제로 고수회의 뛰어난 태권도 실력은 훈련을 통해 배양되고 있다. 매주 금요일 야간에 실시하는 주중 수련과 매월 첫 번째 토요일 2시에 실시하는 정기월례 수련은 고수회가 오래 동안 지켜오는 훈련 원칙이다.Actually a brilliant Taekwondo ability of Gosuhoe is developed by training. Weekday training on every Friday night and regular monthly training on every first Saturday at 2pm is a training principle to keep for a long time.그럼에도 불구하고 고수회는 태권도 실력이 고수임을 뜻 하는 것이 아니라 진정으로 태권도를 사랑하는 마음가짐으로 항시 수련하는, 고수가 되기를 희망하는 사범들의 모임이라고 밝히고 있다.In spite of that Gosuhoe said that "Gosu" means not for high levelof Taekwondo abilities but Taekwondo masters gathering who loves Taekwondo and training and wish to become a high level Master.또 고수회는 태권도 이론서인 태권도교본을 편찬하는 등 태권도 이론 연구에도 심혈을 기울이고 있다.Also Gosuhoe compiled a Taekwondo text book as a Taekwondo theory book to put their heart and soul into studying Taekwondo theory.

고수회의 발족은 현재 국기원에서 매년 주최하고 있는 세계태권도한마당 대회가 모태가 되었다. The starting of Gosuhoe was from the World Taekwondo Hanmadang that is held every year by Kukkiwon.겨루기 중심의 태권도에서 벗어나 새롭고 다양한 태권도 문화를 표방하며 1992년 12월3일 개최된 세계태권도한마당은 제1회부터 작년까지 총16회를 치룬 태권도인의 가장 큰 축제다.It is claimed to stand for new and various Taekwondo culture that brings away the Taekwondo focus on sparring and the World Taekwondo Hanmadang is the most biggest festival for Taekwondo people from the 1st on December 3, 1992 to the 16th last year.품새, 격파, 겨루기 등의 태권도를 구성하는 3가지 큰 줄기 중 상대적으로 소홀해져 왔던 품새와 격파를 이 대회를 통해 한껏 뽐낼 수 있기에 많은 태권도인들에게는 태권도 실력을 뽐 낼 수 있는 최고의 장이라 할 수 있다. Taekwondo has three parts, Poomsae, Breaking and Sparring, but the Poomsae and Breaking was careless than Sparring before this competition so this Hanmadang can be the best place showing Taekwondo people"s abilities.이 대회에서 그 기량을 인정받는다는 것은 태권도 종주국인 대한민국에서 그 분야 최고임을 공인받는다는 의미가 있기 때문이다.Because it is acknowledged from Hanmadang, that means to be best of Taekwondo in Korea.세계태권도 한마당 대회를 통해서 의기를 투합한 10명의 고단자가 이 대회에서 배출된 인재를 모아, 무예와 무도정신이 깃든 태권도의 혼과 진수를 새로이 개발하자는 뜻에서 고수회를 발족하게 됐다.10 high Dan holders from the World Taekwondo Hanmadang gathered able men from Hanmadang and then started Gosuhoe to newly develop soul and essence of Taekwondo which is including military arts and martial arts sprit.

세계태권도한마당 대회 계기로 발족Starting with the World Taekwondo Hanmadang초대 회장인 강신철 사범과 한철유, 정병모, 최인수, 전기복, 김호진, 김경찬, 김현민, 이해준, 조용구 사범 등이 주축이 되어 결성된 고수회는 이후 박종범, 김하일, 임광열, 박진교, 임병영, 정재훈, 강익필, 정현도 사범 등이 활동하였으며, 현재 국내외 60여명의 회원이 활동 중이다.The Gosuhoe made by the first president of Gosuhoe, Master Kang Shin-Cheol, Master. Han Chul-Yu, Jeong Byeong-Mo, Choi In-Su, Jeon Ki-Bok, Kim Ho-Jin, Kim Kyung-Chan, Kim hyun-Min, Lee Hae-Jun, Jo Yong-Gu, and then Master. Pack Jong-Bum, Kim Ha-Il, Lim Kwang-Yeol, Park Jin-Kyo, Lim Byeong-Young, Jeong Jae-Hun, Kang Ik-Pil and Jeong Hyun-Do also activity, and now, 60 members is activity in the nation and overseas.고수회의 정신은 먼저 종교 및 관 의식을 초월하며, 지역주의, 물질, 배움의 높낮음에 얽매이지 않는 마음을 기조로 실력과 명예, 정도를 신조로 하고 있다.The spirit of Gosuhoe is transcend religion, formality, and the basis is not tied of regionalism, material and the level of learning, and the creed is ability, honour and justice.따라서 고수회는 큰길을 곧게 걸어가는 무도인으로서 무도를 연구하며 몸소 실천하는 행동철학을 지향하고 있어 후배 태권도인들에게 큰 귀감이 되고 있다는 평가다.Accordingly Gosuhoe study martial arts as martial arts people who go on the right and big way and intend to action philosophy to do personally to set an example for junior Taekwondo people.모임 명칭을 고수회로 정하기까지는 여러 고민도 있었다. 이송학 3대 회장은 “고수라는 이름 때문에 불필요한 오해를 사는 경우도 있었다. 모임의 이름을 정할 때 태권왕 클럽 이라는 이름도 나왔지만 한마당을 통해서 그 우수한 기량을 인정받은 고단자들이기에 고수회로 하자는 데 의견이 모아졌다”고 밝혔다. It was hard to decide the gathering name to Gosuhoe. The 3rd president, Mr. Lee Song-Hak said, "Sometimes the name, Gosu brought unnecessary misunderstanding. When we was deciding the gathering name, there was a name, Taekwon-king Club but they put their opinion to call Gosuhoe because they was acknowledged the excellent ability in Hanmadang"그런데 고단이라는 말은 많이 썼어도 고수라는 말은 흔치 않았기 때문에 조금은 지나치다고 생각하는 곱지 않은 시선이 있었기 때문이다. But usually the word, Go-Dan (high level of Dan), is used instead of Go-Su (high level of ability man) so people thinks it goes far.그러나 실력이 고수임을 뜻 하는 것이 아니라 진정으로 태권도를 사랑하는 마음가짐으로 항시 수련하는, 고수가 되기를 희망하는 사범들의 모임이란 의미로 고수회로 명칭을 정하게 되었다는 것이다.But they made the decision to be called Gosuhoe that means only Taekwondo master"s gathering who wish to be high level of ability man with a true mind to love Taekwondo but who has high level of abilities.이 회장은 “도복을 입지 않고 지도하는 사범들은 고수회원이 될 수 없으며, 이는 의사가 체육복이나 양복을 입고 의료행위를 하는 것과 다름없기에 고수회원들은 올바른 태권도지도와 수련을 위하여 반드시 도장 내에서 도복을 입고 수련에 임하고 있다”고 덧붙였다.President Lee said, "Who is not wearing a Dobok to train can not be Gosuhoe member that is like a doctor who does medical treatment with track suit or a suit so all Gosuhoe members have to wear Dobok and train in the Dojang for the right way to instruct Taekwondo and training"

땀에 젖은 도복, 올바른 지도자상 제시Sweated Dobok presents the right figure of Master초대회장 강신철 사범은 종교 및 출신 관을 초월해서 무예를 연구하며 선후배간의 친목으로 상부상조하여 참 무술을 보급하고 태권도를 통한 국위선양과 민족문화발전에 기여함을 목적으로 한다는 고수회의 결성취지를 살리는 의미에서 96년 말부터 태권도교본작업을 시작하여 97년11월 태권도 고수회편의 태권도교본을 출판하였다. 이후 고수회는 강신철회장의 지도로 태권도한마당과 각종대회에서 우수한 기량을 선보였고, 2001년 제15회 제주 세계선수권 대회 시범과 2003년 제주 남북 민족평화 축전 등에서 시범을 보여 성인태권도 사범으로 구성된 고수회의 위상을 한층 더 높이는 계기가 되었다.The first president Master Kang Shin-Cheol started work for the Taekwondo text book from the end of 1996 and published the Taekwondo text book of Taekwondo Gosuhoe in November, 1997 to save the purpose of Gosuhoe organization that study martial arts as transcend religion, formality and spread real martial arts by mutual help of seniors and juniors to purpose for national prestige enhancement and culture development through Taekwondo. 2004년 1월 10일 박종범 사범은 고수회를 사랑하고, 아끼는 마음과 공로를 인정받아 회원들의 호선에 의해 2대 회장으로 취임하였다.Master Park Jong-Bum took office as the 2nd president in January 10, 2004 and was elected by mutual vote as he loves Gosuhoe with a value mind and merits. 제2대 박종범 회장은 고수회의 활동범위를 넓혀 그해 중국 남개대학교에서 고수회 품새 세미나와 격파시범 그리고 충주 세계무술축제에서 태권도시범을 하였다.The 2nd president, Master Park Jong-Bum has widen the sphere of activity for Gosuhoe at that time so there was a Gosuhoe Poomsae seminar and breaking demonstration at Namjae University in China and Taekwondo demonstration at the World Martial Arts Festival in Chungju.고수회는 2005년 3월1일, 제1회 태권도 사범회 시연대회를 통해서 “도복을 입고 땀으로 도복을 적시는 것만이 이시대의 사범들의 올바른 모습”임을 제시 하였고, 2006년, 2007년에 치러진 제1·2회 세계태권도 품새 선수권대회에 국가대표의 일원으로 참가하여 고수회의 위상을 높게 만들어 세계속의 고수회임을 증명하였다. 또한 고수회는 2006년에 2번의 품새 강습회를 하는 등 품새 발전과 보급에 노력하였다.Gosuhoe has shown "The right figure of Taekwondo masters at this time is wet the Dobok by sweat" at the 1st Taekwondo Masters demonstration competition on March 1, 2005, and participated at the 1st and 2nd the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2006 and 2007 as a member of the national team and raise the Gosuhoe "s prestige to prove the Gosuhoe in the world.태권도 고수 아닌 열정만 있으면 입회 가능Anyone with passion of Taekwondo has the possibility to join even though they are high grade masters in Taekwondo고수회는 매주 금요일 야간에 주중 수련을 하며 매월 1번째 토요일 2시에 정기 월례수련을 한다. 고수회 입회를 원하는 사람은 5단 이상 25세 이상자라면 누구나 테스트를 받을 수 있다. 대부분의 사람들이 생각하기를 고수회는 실력이 꽉 찬 사람들만 입회하는 것으로 알고 있는데 이는 잘못된 인식이며, 주중수련과 월례 수련 시에 고수회 입회를 원하는 사범은 함께 수련을 할 수가 있다.Gosuhoe has weekday training every Friday night and regular monthly training every 1st Saturday at 2pm. Anyone who wants can be tested to join Gosuhoe that have to have more than 5th Dan grade and over 24 years old. Most of people think that full of abilities people can join Gosuhoe but it is wrong, any Taekwondo instructors can come and train when it is for weekday training and monthly training.현재 회원들의 대부분은 각종 대회나 시범에 참여하여 스스로 노력하고 깨우치는 계기를 만들어 가고 있다. 실력의 높고 낮음을 떠나 태권도를 사랑하는 열정이 있다면 누구나 입회심사에 도전할 수 있다. Most of the members are trying hard to develop themselves by participating in every kind of competitions and demonstrations. Anyone with passion in Taekwondo challenge for joining test that is unrelated to the level of abilities.기본동작과 품새, 자기가 가지고 있는 특기와 격파를 그대로 보여줄 수 있는 용기와 자신감만 가지고 있다면 몸으로 보여줄 수 있는 실력은 큰 문제가 되지 않는다는 설명이다.
