아르헨티나 태권도 열기 Taekwondo passion in Argentina태권도 수련생, 국기원 방문 ‘최고 희망’"Best wishes" for Taekwondo practitioners visiting Kukkiwon세계 태권도계는 1988년 서울올림픽 전에는 ITF(소위 북한 태권도)와 WTF(한국태권도)도 양분되어 있었다. 이후 태권도는 1994년 WTF의 올림픽 가입으로 급속도로 WTF가 세계 태권도계를 장악하기 시작했다. 현재의 수련인구는 90:10 정도로 WTF가 압도적 우위를 차지하고 있다.The world Taekwondo community was divided into ITF (International Taekwondo Federation) and WTF (World Taekwondo Federation) before Seoul Olympics in 1988. The existing training population is 90% WTF and 10% ITF.그러나 일부 국가에서는 ITF 태권도 수련층이 많은 것이 사실. 대표적인 국가가 남미의 아르헨티나다. 최근에는 아르헨티나 태권도계도 새로운 바람이 불고 있다. 바로 WTF태권도가 활성화 되며 급속한 수련 층을 확보하고 있기 때문이다. 아르헨티나에 불고 있는 태권도 열기를 소개한다.But some countries have many ITF Taekwondo practitioners. 김한창 사범은 “40년 전 태권도 사범으로 아르헨티나에서 제자들을 지도하기 시작해 이제는 그 제자들이 사범이 되었다"고 감회를 피력했다.Master Kim Han-Chang said, "I started to train my students in Argentina 40 years ago as a Taekwondo instructor and these students has become Taekwondo instructors now"이처럼 아르헨나에서의 태권도는 이제 최고의 무도로 자라집고 있다.
