경외감과 대중성에 바탕특히 태권도시범의 꽃이라 할 수 있는 격파시범은 묘기격파와 위력격파로 나눌 수 있는데 보는 이들로 하여금 자연스럽게 탄성을 자아내게 한다. 묘기격파는 560° 회전을 하면서 격파하는 기술은 바로 예술과 같은 아름다움을 보는 이들에게 선사하고 있다. 또 위력격파는 정통 태권도 시범으로 수년간 수련의 의미를 담고 있으며, 태권도 실력을 내공을 가장 잘 보여주는 시범이다.Based on respect and popularityEspecially, breaking performance, an essence of taekwondo demonstration might be divided into technical breaking and power breaking, and these impress audiences.Technical breaking presents extraordinary view with turning 560°. Power breaking represents past training and displays internal power.이러한 태권도 시범은 그동안 해외 공연을 통해 태권도 홍보 수단으로 활용되며 태권도의 세계화를 이루는데 첨병 역할을 하기도 했으며, 이제는 하나의 문화 공연 작품으로 인정을 받고 있다.실제로 경희궁에서 매주 외국인을 대상으로 펼쳐지고 있는 태권도시범문화공연은 태권도가 문화 공연 작품으로서의 가치와 발전 방향을 가늠하는 중요한 터닝포인트라는 평가다.앞으로 태권도 시범은 태권도 홍보 수단보다는 하나의 예술로서 가치를 찾아야 하고, 이를 토대로 세계인이 공유하는 문화로서 자리매김하도록 해야 한다는 것이다.그러나 이러한 태권도시범의 활성화를 위해서는 현재 국기대표시범단으로 활동하고 있는 국기원 시범단의 활성화와 함께 다양한 시범프로그램 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있다.특히 국기원 시범단의 활성화와 관련해서는 스포츠화 되어가는 태권도의 무도적 정체성을 유지하고, 새롭게 부각되고 있는 문화적 가치의 경쟁적 우위를 선점하기 위한 국기원 자체의 노력이 필요하다는 지적이다.이를 위해서 국기원은 시범자원의 효율적 관리와 시범단원에 대한 명확한 후생복지 제도 마련이 필요하다는 것이다.This taekwondo demonstration program has been used for taekwondo promotion and served as the guard for globalization of taekwondo, and is now recognized as a cultural performance.In fact, a taekwondo demonstration cultural performance is rated as the important turning point determining the value and direction of taekwondo.It is often demanded that development of more demonstration programs are needed for activation of taekwondo demonstration activities.It is especially stressed that activation of Kukkiwon demonstration team will secure the status of Kukkiwon in martial arts.To achieve this goal, Kukkiwon is requested to effectively manage demonstration team members and offer benefit policy to them.

시범프로그램 개발 절실서울시와 함께 추진하고 있는 태권도시범문화공연을 시범의 문화적 가치를 보여주는 계기로 활용하고 이를 통해 태권도시범공연의 체계적 계획과 차별화된 영역의 개척을 위한 연구투자가 요구되고 있다는 것이다.따라서 국기원은 시범단의 활성화를 위해 다각적인 노력을 기울일 방침이다. 우선 태권도시범공연에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있는 현실을 감안, 태권도 홍보를 위해 최대한 공연 요구를 받아들인다는 계획이다.Development of demonstration program needed to be developedThere are voices for using taekwondo demonstration cultural performances as the enhancement of displaying cultural value of taekwondo demonstration.
